For as long as I can remember, I’ve drawn inspiration from films. Whether it’s a dramatic, wide scenic shot or how they color grade a film, I’ve found myself imitating them in my portrait work for years.
And now, I’m excited to say, they’re also influencing how I make short films! Being able to add short films to my services has long been a goal of mine. There is something magical about the moving image. And you know me, if I can find another way to add some beauty to the world, I will!
What kind of short films am I offering?
- Promotional Films for Business
- Promotional Films for Tourism Boards (like the one above)
- Promotional Films for Dancers and Performers
- “Behind the Scenes” Films
- “Day in the Life” Films
The categories above are very broad and can include many different types of short films. So, if you don’t see your particular type of short film listed above, please contact me here with questions.
Why am I adding short films to my services?
Aside from the fact that I love creating short films, offering short film creation will benefit my clients. I can now create both the still images and short films you need for a solid marketing campaign.
Why is this so important? If you take a look at successful marketing campaigns, they mix both still images and short films to promote a services or product. The two work hand in hand.
A good example of this would be a marking campaign for a Tourism Board… something I have wanted to do for a very long time!
Photography can be used to feature local business people in their environments, the beautiful scenery, people enjoying the activities in the area, etc. Next, you add video to give them a tour of the area and show them what their visit would be like.
Mix the two together on social media and a potential visitor will get to know the area before visiting. And, as we all know, feeling familiar with an area makes us much more likely to visit.
If you have questions about having a short film created, please feel free to contact me here. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have.
And, be sure to keep an eye on my blog for more of my short films soon!
